Application Tape

Is this normal?

I have found the cold weather has killed my paper app tape, the adhesive is non existent and has turned the roll to .....well paper lol.

I have found though I can give it a lease of life by heating it up, how long it will last though I don't know.

Is this normal?

What tape are you using?

Might be something to do with it...

i think tis normal, same happened to mine, had to throw it out...

don't know if twas the cold or the damp cos of cold,in any case buy new solvwes problem...

In my cvase took app tape from my warmer printer room to my scpolder general work room and forgot to put it back in warmer / dryer place... same thing, throw it out... hope this helps .....

Cheers, not keen on throwing it out though as it is brand new lol, 24 inch, 12 inch and 2 x 6 inch, all had less than a metre taken off. I think I will heat some up and apply it and then see if it lasts.

It still works, which I suppose is all it needs to do really not like the vinyl which actually needs to stay sticky for much longer.

The tape i'm using is R Tape 4050 Application Tape

remember now, don't throw it, I put application tape over the vinyl and heated it with gun and it stuck again...
